Hennessy, also known as Hennessy Cognac or Hennessy XO, is a brand of cognac produced by the French company Jas Hennessy & Co. It was founded in 1765 by Irishman Richard Hennessy, and has since become one of the most recognized and prestigious cognac brands in the world. Hennessy XO (Extra Old) is a blend of more than 100 different eaux-de-vie, with an average age of 12 years. It is known for its rich, complex flavors and aromas of spices, oak, vanilla, and fruit.
