Château Cheval Blanc is a premier wine estate located in the St. Emilion region of Bordeaux, France. It is one of only four vineyards in the area that has been given the rank of Premier Grand Cru Classé (A), which is the highest possible classification for a Bordeaux wine. The estate was founded in the 18th century and acquired by the Fourcaud-Laussac family in 1832. Today, it is owned by Bernard Arnault and Baron Albert Frère. The vineyard covers about 39 hectares and is planted mostly with Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes. It is known for producing complex, elegant, and highly sought-after wines that can age for decades.
