Elvira Lind is a Swedish documentary filmmaker and writer. She was born on July 20, 1981, in Stockholm, Sweden, and graduated from Columbia University with a Master's Degree in Documentary Filmmaking. Lind is known for her emotionally powerful and intimate films, which explore themes of identity, relationships, and human resilience. Her most well-known works include the documentaries Bobbi Jene (2017) and Songs for Alexis (2014). Lind has received numerous accolades for her work, including the Best Documentary Feature award at the Tribeca Film Festival and the Award for Best Nordic Documentary at the Göteborg Film Festival. She is married to actor Oscar Isaac and the couple has two children together.
